You’ve Been DOGEd
The Looney Left are just trying to stay relevant
It is time to catch up with DOGE. Yes, playing catch up to Elon and crew is about all anyone can do, as they are in a constant state of flurry and excitement. As the dipsticks on the left catch on to one department clean up, the DOGE team is already working on two others.
Their website advertises what they have found thus far, as well as showing receipts to back up their progress. Check it out here: doge.gov
Last updated February 17, 2025, the DOGE team keeps the information flowing on the website with expected updates twice per week. Today, they maintain they have an estimated savings of $55 billion. And this is only Wednesday…..
However, the commies are having conniption fits over Trump doing exactly what they themselves championed under Obama. Karoline Leavitt highlighted this fact in a Tweet just a few days ago:
The only problem is that when the DemonRats did it, (1) they weren’t transparent, (2) they didn’t actually cut waste (they increased it) and (3) they were able to keep the backdoor money flowing.
Nevertheless, they need to justify their existence, therefore, they continue to accuse Trump of bypassing the Constitution and creating a crisis. (gasp) What they don’t see is how they lost the support of their majority base in the last election. The people are tired of it. They are tired of scraping to keep their rent paid. They are tired of not being able to afford basic food. They are tired of their kids not enjoying a childhood like they had.
The people want the government cleaned up. They want their taxes to go down. They want to know that their children and grandchildren are not going to be paying for Bernie Sanders new homes as he screams for Socialism. They want AOC to shut up. They want what Trump has promised them, and is delivering.
So DOGE will continue.
Looking at the website, I am impressed with the kids at DOGE. They can take credit for millions of dollars in savings so far. Add the following to the lists.
The DOE needs to go. Our children are not getting educated, but are getting indoctrinated.
Department of Education has terminated 18 grants for $226m to Comprehensive Centers, which provided consulting services with a large focus on DEI
I hate ObamaCAIR. This program ran way too many out of their healthcare. But saving money is a start. Maybe they will be able to figure out how to get rid of it before much longer.
Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) saving taxpayers $360M by streamlining its Affordable Care Act Navigator program.
And some of the most ridiculous spending I have seen in a month of Sundays.
US taxpayer dollars were going to be spent on the following items, all which have been cancelled:
- $10M for "Mozambique voluntary medical male circumcision"
- $29M to "strengthening political landscape in Bangladesh"
- $20M for "fiscal federalism" in Nepal
- $19M for "biodiversity conversation" in Nepal
- $1.5M for "voter confidence" in Liberia
- $14M for "social cohesion" in Mali
And So Much More!
